Icy skogafoss in winter sunlight. 25.11.2017
It was just few days ago our tour couldn’t go futher than Vik due to a heavy storm. Many roads in Iceland were closed. We did the best out of it and visited alternative places in rather good weather. The next day another two days trip started and Iceland showed the beauty of the South in the winter sun. Of course days are short now but if you plan wisely you get daylight at the post important places. Sometimes things are going otherwise than it supposed to be. Iceland was and is hit by a heavy storm and many tourists got stuck or drove into troubles. On Best Travel’s tour program was Golden Circle the first day, what could be done. But there was no chance to go further than Vik and the passengers had to learn they can’t visit the ice cave in Vatnajökull and glacier lagoon Jökulsarlon.
