Best Travel and Best of Iceland on a visit in Siglufjördur: The drive on the western part of Tröllaskagi peninsula is spectacular. With the new Hotel Siglo the former herring town got a new face, and since the tunnels from Olafsfjördur opened in 2011 the town becomes more and more attractive and will offer new activities. Beda from Zürich in Switzerland has been involved with the hotel construction from the beginning and now offers sea angling and hiking tours. Snow shoeing, kayaking and SUP (stand up paddle) will be on his activity list soon.
