South Coast with Skogar Museum

The weather was not at it’s best on Saturday’s South Coast tour. The illuminated Christmas tree in front ot the turf houses at Skogar Museum lighted up the grey day. It’s every time interesting to have a look into the huge selection of collected things by Thordur Tomasson. About 15’000 folk craft artifacts are presented in three buildings and six turfhouses. The historical buildings outside create a nice scenery. The famous and 60 meters high Skogafoss is just around the corner.

In the museum of transportation you find a nice selection of veteran cars. But Best Travel is happy to have some newer vehicles.
