Real winter in Iceland

Last Sunday Best Travel collected passengers of group Wintermaerchen at Keflavik Airport. People from Switzerland were rather surprized to arrive in Iceland and to see just little snow alongside the mountains but not more. It wasn’t what they expected from a country called Iceland. They spent the first night in Reykjavik, the next day we arrived at Hunavatns Sysla where we found a little snow. But driving around the peninsulas of Vatnsnes and Tröllaskagi more and more winter feelings were coming up. The big suprize waited outside of Akureyri when waking up and see 4×4 Mantra was covered by a thick layer of snow. At least 25 cm of new snow were falling during the night and Best Travel team started before breakfast to clean the snow away and the windows for their passengers and let them have a real good winter feeling. It’s great to be on a well equipped bus like 4×4 Mantra during days like this.
