Winter ringroad tours

Recently and over Christmas Best Travel drove twice around Iceland, a circle more or less on the ring road, road no 1. What is no problem during summer time can be a big adventure in winter with icy or snowy roads.  But the conditions were both times good. We were the first time on Sprinter, the second time on 4×4 Mantra and were lucky with the vehicle change as it was snowing up North. There are much more tourists traveling in the South but the East and the North are fantastic empty in this time of the year. As a driverguide I hope to get more roundtrips the next weeks. For sure I will be on Wintermärchen tour with Best of Iceland where we will spend some days in the northern part of Iceland. Little winter tour photo gallery:
